Working Conditions Aboard the Ever-Loading

Evergreen Group has officially launched its latest vessel, 'Ever Loading', through a spectacular naming ceremony held at the CSBC Corporation shipyard in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This marks the unveiling of the sixth L-type vessel constructed by the esteemed shipbuilder. The event was presided over by Mr. Bronson Hsieh, the Second Vice Chairman of Evergreen Group, adding a prestigious touch to the occasion. Ms. Michelle Nardulli, a member of the Board of Directors for Italia Marittima—Evergreen’s Italian subsidiary—performed the ceremonial rope-cutting, signifying the vessel's official entry into service. 'Ever Loading', boasting an impressive capacity of 8,508 TEU, has recently commenced operations on a new service route connecting Asia to the US East Coast via the Suez Canal in collaboration with strategic partners. Notably, the L-class vessels are among the largest containerships capable of passing beneath the Bayonne Bridge and docking at New York port, allowing Evergreen to significantly reduce unit costs and sharpen its competitive edge in the Asia to US East Coast market. The vessel measures 334.8 meters in length and 45.8 meters in width, featuring 948 reefer plugs for refrigerated cargo. Committed to sustainability, the L-class containership incorporates alternative marine power, an advanced ballast water treatment system, and an electronic-controlled fuel-injection engine designed for slow steaming. Following its delivery on July 29th, 'Ever Loading' will seamlessly integrate into Evergreen Line’s Asia to US West Coast route, replacing an older model and reinforcing the company's dedication to innovation and efficiency in maritime transport.
