CMA CGM Updates CIMEX 6 Service, Enhancing Asia-Middle East Connectivity

CMA CGM has announced an important update to its dedicated CIMEX 6 service, which connects Asia with the Middle East Gulf. Effective from the estimated time of arrival (ETA) in Shanghai on August 6, 2018, the service will now include a call at Umm Qasr, Iraq, replacing the previous stop at Bandar Abbas. This strategic change is set to provide a more direct shipping route from Asia to Umm Qasr. The updated route will begin with the following rotation: Shanghai, Ningbo, Taipei, Shekou, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Kelang, Jebel Ali, Umm Qasr, Jebel Ali, Port Kelang, Hong Kong, and returning to Shanghai. The service is set to commence on August 6, 2018, with the m/v EVER USEFUL, voyage number 0GN13W1MA, marking the start of this enhanced offering.
