On March 31, 2019, the cargo ship "Fairlane," sailing from Antwerp to Tarragona with a crew of 16, encountered fuel pump problems approximately 21.5 miles southeast of Start Point. The vessel was located at coordinates 49°54'51" N, 003°22'03" W when the incident occurred around 12:30 p.m. Quick action was taken by the crew to address the issue, and after replacing the damaged part, the "Fairlane" was back on its journey by 1:00 p.m.
