The Fetsy: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

The excavation efforts for the Fehmarn tunnel are in full swing, with the dedicated vessel 'Fetsy' making significant headway in digging out the trench. Situated in the Fehmarnbelt, approximately 10 kilometers away from the Danish coast, the project involves the construction of a tunnel comprising 89 elements across an 18-kilometer span. This ambitious undertaking is being executed 24/7, showcasing the commitment to rapid progress. The 'Fetsy' is capable of retrieving up to 70 tonnes of material from depths reaching 40 meters, efficiently storing it onboard for future use.
