On July 18th, 2017, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co. (SWS) celebrated another significant achievement in its shipbuilding portfolio by delivering the sister vessel H1394, known as FONTANA. This delivery came just two months after the company handed over the Suezmax Oil Tanker H1393. The signing ceremony took place on the 15th floor of the science building, highlighting SWS's continued commitment to excellence. The FONTANA measures an impressive 274 meters in overall length, 48 meters in molded breadth, and boasts a designed draft of 16 meters. This state-of-the-art vessel is fully equipped to transport crude oil with flash points at or below 60℃ and adheres strictly to the regulations of the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI). The FONTANA was commissioned by the Greek shipping firm TMS TANKERS, ensuring a robust international partnership in the maritime industry.
