Total has officially commenced production at Moho Nord, marking it as the largest oil initiative in the Republic of Congo. Located approximately 75 kilometers off the coast of Pointe-Noire, this venture boasts a significant production capacity of 100,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The Moho Nord development features a network of 34 wells linked to a pioneering tension leg platform, which is Total’s first of its kind in Africa, as well as a new floating production unit named Likouf. Oil extracted at the Likouf unit undergoes processing before being transported via pipeline to the Djeno onshore terminal, which is also managed by Total.
