In an exciting development for maritime logistics, French shipping powerhouse CMA CGM is set to launch a new feeder service connecting the Straits with Myanmar (Burma). The service will be operated by the 'Morotai', a vessel capable of carrying 642 TEUs, and will establish a connection every 12 days at Yangon (formerly known as Rangoon). This new route will link key hubs such as Port Kelang, Tanjung Pelepas, and Singapore. Additionally, MCC Transport, the intra-Asian subsidiary of APM-Maersk, will secure slots on this service. The inaugural voyage is scheduled to commence from Port Kelang in July, as reported by Alphaliner.
