The incident occurred just before the ship was scheduled to depart for Hanko, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) set for October 2. The impact resulted in a breach approximately 70 centimeters above the waterline on the starboard side of the vessel. Following a thorough inspection, the 'Genca' was cleared for departure and left the port of Antwerp the following morning at 7 AM on September 30.
