However, upon their arrival, the Coastguard teams found no visible signs of oil in Kappelhamnsviken. Continuing their efforts the next morning on December 10, the 'KBV 310' remained vigilant in searching for any oil traces. A second surveillance aircraft was deployed, which detected only thin strips of scattered oil that were deemed too dispersed for recovery. Subsequently, 'KBV 310' concluded its operations and returned to its regular duties. At that time, the 'Gilija' was moored off Gotland alongside the Lithuanian trawler 'Minge' (IMO No.: 6714809).
