On October 22, 2014, the fishing vessel 'Arend-Jan - GO 26' encountered severe weather, leading to complications with its pulse trawl. As conditions deteriorated, the crew opted to return to port in the afternoon. Recognizing that their home base of Ijmuiden was too far for a secure return, they redirected their course to Scheveningen. The vessel successfully moored at 3:20 PM. After weathering the storm, the 'Arend-Jan - GO 26' resumed its fishing activities in the North Sea, setting out again at 3 AM on October 23.
