In June, the vessel successfully delivered 2,760 head of Australian cattle to Sihanoukville, marking a significant milestone in the newly established cattle trade between Australia and Cambodia. This shipment is particularly noteworthy as it represents the first delivery of beef cattle from Australia since the two countries finalized health protocols two years prior. Greyman Express is among a fleet of seven state-of-the-art livestock carriers that were constructed in China for Livestock Express. These next-generation vessels feature an innovative bow design that not only promotes the highest levels of comfort for both the livestock and crew but also allows for impressive speeds and efficiency during transit. The vessel's optimal pen configurations facilitate seamless loading and unloading processes while ensuring that all livestock have easy access to water and feed. With a cargo capacity of approximately 4,600m2 and a cruising range of about 18,000 nautical miles, Greyman Express can undertake extensive voyages, such as a journey from Brazil to China and back without needing to refuel. The vessel is equipped with state-of-the-art animal welfare services—including ventilation, watering, and feeding systems—that surpass the stringent Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) regulations, which are recognized worldwide as the most rigorous standards for livestock transportation.

COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd, a key subsidiary of the COSCO Shipyard Group, which is majority-owned by COSCO at 51%, has successfully delivered a state-of-the-art livestock carrier named "GREYMAN EXPRESS" to a European buyer. This milestone was confirmed in a recent press release detailing the signing of the delivery documents between COSCO Guangdong and the buyer. The GREYMAN EXPRESS boasts impressive dimensions, measuring 134.80 meters in length overall (LOA), 19.60 meters in width, and 14.80 meters in depth, showcasing the yard's commitment to building vessels that meet the demands of modern livestock transport.
