On October 5, a migrant vessel set sail from Boumerdès, located east of Algiers, and was reported missing by the NGO Caminando Fronteras (Walking Borders) on the afternoon of October 7. The situation prompted an immediate response from Salvamento Marítimo, which received the alert at 2 p.m. The Spanish search and rescue boat 'Guardamar Concepción Arenal' was deployed to the search area. By early afternoon, crews successfully recovered a body approximately two miles off the coast of Ibiza. The remains were subsequently transported to Botafoc port, where the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard took custody for investigation. In addition to maritime resources, a Sasemar 308 aircraft launched from Valencia conducted aerial searches to locate the missing boat south of the Balearic Islands and continued operations the following morning. In a coordinated effort, all seven crew members aboard the yacht were safely evacuated by the 'Salvamar Naos' and were promptly taken ashore, where they were reported to be in good health. Unfortunately, despite the urgent response efforts, the fire could not be contained, leading to the sinking of the luxury vessel. On March 14, 2025, the m/v 'Condor' alerted authorities to a capsized boat drifting aimlessly off the coast of Barcelona. Upon receiving the report, the 'Río Santa Eulalia', a patrol vessel operated by the Guardia Civil, was dispatched to the scene to conduct a thorough search. Despite efforts, no individuals were found in the water. Subsequently, the 'Guardamar Concepción Arenal' intervened, successfully towing the capsized vessel, identified as 'BS 3', back to Barcelona for further examination. In a commendable maritime rescue effort, the 'Guardamar Concepción Arenal' successfully brought 22 migrants to safety at the port of Almería on December 23 at 11:00 a.m. The harrowing rescue took place approximately 50 nautical miles southeast of Garrucha, where the crew of the Search and Rescue (SAR) vessel located the distressed occupants at 4:56 a.m. Notably, the m/v 'Sable' had been positioned in the area on standby, ready to assist until the arrival of the rescue ship, ensuring a timely and coordinated operation.

On November 3, a remarkable rescue operation unfolded near Lanzarote when the m/v 'Regina' successfully lifted 54 migrants from a sinking vessel. In a harrowing scene, some individuals were found struggling in the water as the 'Guardamar Concepción Arenal' was dispatched to support the mission. The dedicated crew of the 'Regina' bravely managed to save two additional survivors from the sea, while, unfortunately, the recovery operation also included the grim task of retrieving the body of one deceased migrant.
