On February 10, 2023, at approximately 10:30 p.m. GMT, the tanker 'Campo Square', which was traveling in ballast, encountered an unusual incident in the Arabian Sea, around 300 nautical miles from the shores of India and Oman. The vessel sustained minor damage after being struck by an airborne object. Fortunately, both the ship and its crew were reported safe following the incident. The 'Campo Square' was en route from Singapore to Fujairah at the time of the occurrence. Following the incident, the ship's AIS system went offline on February 11, only to reappear on February 13 near Fujairah, after which it went offline again.
