Maritime authorities promptly detained the vessel to ensure repairs and thorough inspections were conducted before it could resume its journey.

On March 15, 2014, at approximately 4:40 p.m., the fishing vessel 'Rochefort' reported a medical emergency to the semaphore Cape de la Chèvre, noting that a crew member was experiencing severe chest pain. The helicopter successfully reached the scene by 5:20 p.m., where the crew member was hoisted aboard and subsequently transported to Cavale Blanche Hospital in Brest, arriving just after 6:20 p.m.
