Evergreen Line proudly announces the arrival of the Thalassa Mana, the seventh in a fleet of ten 13,808-TEU container ships. This significant addition, ordered in July 2012 from Hyundai Heavy Industries, is part of a strategic 10-year charter agreement. Each vessel in this series was acquired at a competitive price of $116.5 million, a notable decrease from the peak pricing of $160 million to $170 million back in 2008. The remaining three vessels are set to be delivered this September. The Thalassa Mana will enhance Evergreen's operations alongside her sister ship, the Thalassa Niki, which joined the fleet in June. Together, they will play a pivotal role in Evergreen's Far East-Europe CEM service, seamlessly integrated within the new CKYHE alliance. The CKYH partners have designated this service string as NE 5, with a robust capacity of 8,500 TEUs per vessel.
