The journey of the icebreaker 'Arktika' began in December 2021, when it penetrated the formidable sea-ice of the Laptev Sea. This marked its inaugural trip into the eastern Arctic waters as it navigated several thousand kilometers across the East Siberian Sea towards the town of Pevek. Accompanying the 'Arktika' were three vessels: 'Polar King', 'Inzhener Rubin', and the diesel-powered icebreaker 'Dikson'. Upon arriving in Pevek, the cargo ships unloaded vital construction materials for the Baymskaya copper mining initiative, only to become ensnared in the region's sea-ice. These vessels remained immobilized until February 9, 2022, when 'Arktika' returned to the area and began a lengthy escort operation across the Northern Sea Route—an essential step for planning future year-round convoys along this vital maritime corridor. By February 15, the convoy was nearing the Vilkitsky Strait, the gateway between the Laptev Sea and the Kara Sea. The fleet consisted of 'Arktika', the two cargo vessels, the nuclear-powered container ship 'Sevmorput'—which previously traversed the Russian Arctic route in November 2021 carrying essential equipment for a nuclear power facility under construction in Bangladesh before setting sail back toward Murmansk from Vladivostok on January 17—and the diesel-powered icebreaker 'Kapitan Dranitsyn'. Notably, the sea-ice thickness in many areas surpassed two meters. Experts anticipate that the convoy will reach the Barents Sea by late February.

On May 17, 2019, the cargo vessel Inzhener Trubin, which was on its way from Sfax to Rotterdam, encountered trouble when it ran aground in the Oude Maas near Heerjansdam. The swift response from the Muller Dordrecht tugs, En Avant 27 and Sirius, played a crucial role in refloating the stranded vessel. By May 18, at 12:25 a.m., the Inzhener Trubin was safely berthed in Dordrecht before continuing its journey to Rotterdam, where it arrived at Frigocare at 2:45 a.m.

On December 3, 2018, a fire erupted in the engine room of the vessel 'Inzhener Trubin' while it was docked at the port of Arkhangelsk. The alarm was raised at 9:20 p.m., prompting the crew to swiftly seal the affected area and initiate the CO2 fire suppression system. Firefighting efforts were bolstered by the response of six fire rescue engines, and by 10:40 p.m., the blaze was successfully brought under control. Unfortunately, the incident resulted in minor carbon monoxide poisoning for the 4th engineer. The fire caused notable damage to electrical wiring on the bulkheads of the engine room. After the incident, the ship continued its journey and safely arrived at Iskenderun on February 12.
