Jawar Al Khaleej Shipping Expands Fleet with Damen Vessels for Iraqi Oil Terminal Operations
Jawar Al Khaleej Shipping LLC (JAK), a prominent player in the offshore oil and gas services sector throughout the Arabian Gulf, has successfully received a Damen Fast Crew Supplier (FCS) 5009 along with an ASD 3213 tugboat. These vessels are set to enhance operations at the crucial Al Basra Oil Terminal (ABOT) and Khor Al Amaya Oil Terminal (KAAOT), which are responsible for managing over 90% of Iraq's crude oil exports. The FCS 5009 will operate under the name Jawar Abu Dhabi, while the ASD 3213 tug is designated as Jawar Faw. In addition to these acquisitions, JAK anticipates the arrival of a second ASD 3213 tug, known as Jawar Um Qasr, in the near future. With an impressive bollard pull of 85 tonnes, the ASD 3213 tug is among the most robust vessels in Damen's fleet, widely utilized by leading maritime operators.
