The incident took place at approximately 01:50 a.m. when fuel oil overflowed from a fuel tank on the 'Jet', resulting in the release of about 200 kilograms of oil. The slick spread across an area of approximately 100 square meters, affecting both the upper deck of the 'Jet' and the surrounding port waters. In response to the spill, oil containment teams were promptly mobilized to initiate cleanup operations, and containment booms have been strategically deployed to mitigate the environmental impact. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation to ensure a swift resolution and to safeguard the marine ecosystem in the area.
