On December 5, 2018, at 10:55 a.m., the bulk carrier 'Josco Lily' collided with the containership 'Hyperion' in Yokohama's busy port. This incident occurred while the 'Josco Lily' was navigating away from the BC terminal at Honmoku Pier. Following the allision, the 'Josco Lily' continued its journey, departing Yokohama on the same day and successfully docking in Osaka at 11:15 p.m. Meanwhile, the 'Hyperion' set sail on December 5 as well and made its way to Tokyo, where it also arrived later that day. Thankfully, there have been no reports of damage resulting from this collision.
