The departure occurred on July 27, aided by the tug 'Lanpan.' The freighter is now on its journey to Singapore, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) slated for August 9.

As of June 25, the bulk carrier 'Joker' continues to be held under arrest, anchored at the outer limits of Chittagong while awaiting the resolution of ongoing legal disputes and the offloading of its damaged cargo. The situation has drawn attention as the tugboat 'Lanpan 27' is positioned on standby, prepared to tow the vessel from port once the pending issues are settled. Stakeholders remain vigilant as they navigate the complexities surrounding this maritime case.

Cargo operations have officially resumed on the 'Joker' as of May 28, with the discharging process of sound materials from cargo holds 1, 2, 3, and 5 in full swing. Following the successful discharge of both sound and compromised cargo, the vessel is scheduled for temporary repairs before heading to Singapore for extensive permanent fixes. By May 30, 'Joker' had successfully offloaded a total of 24,850 tonnes of soybean, which includes damaged goods, from an initial 53,222 tonnes on board, leaving a remaining balance of 28,372 tonnes. Meanwhile, the 'P Russel' completed the offloading of 28,125 tonnes of gas oil at Chittagong before departing for Batam after undergoing temporary repairs, arriving there on May 30.
