Working Conditions Aboard the Jutta

On December 17, 2019, the cargo ship 'Jutta', which was en route to Lanshan, was apprehended in Singapore at 11:00 AM. The legal proceedings surrounding the arrest were handled by the law firm Oon & Bazul. At the time of the incident, the vessel was anchored at the Eastern Bunkering Anchorage, situated at coordinates 01° 16.08' N and 103° 57.37' E. Following the necessary legal processes, 'Jutta' was released back into service on December 21.

A recent trip charter has been announced for the transportation of 170,000 tons of ore from Tubarao to Qingdao. The agreement includes a cost of $17.75 per ton, with loading operations set to occur over a three-day window. Additionally, a discharge of 30,000 tons is included in the terms. This operation is scheduled to take place between November 20 and 30, under the management of Louis Dreyfus.
