PIRIOU has proudly announced the delivery of the 53-meter Fast Support Intervention Vessel (FSIV) KACEY to SUISSE OUTREMER AG. This impressive vessel, crafted in Vietnam, marks the ninth addition to PIRIOU's FSIV 53w fleet. Notably, the KACEY is the first of a trio of units commissioned by SUISSE OUTREMER AG, set to be operated commercially by ABC MARITIME AG. This partnership with ABC MARITIME AG underscores PIRIOU's stature as a significant contender in the Fast Crew Boat market, with plans to deliver an additional six units of this model in 2014. The FSIV 53w is designed for versatility and is particularly well-suited for the offshore sector, excelling in personnel transportation and on-deck cargo handling. Its sea-tested design, conceptualized by PIRIOU INGENIERIE, features a straight bow that enhances both performance and passenger comfort. Among the standout features of the FSIV 53w are: - Enhanced speed capabilities in both light and loaded conditions, maintaining consistent fuel consumption. - A remarkable fuel efficiency during economic operation. - An incredibly comfortable passenger area, outfitted with 48 lounge seats in a 'Business Class' configuration, along with two luxurious owner’s cabins. The KACEY’s fuel capacity extends to 135 m³, and it boasts a generous cargo deck space of 226 tons. Its state-of-the-art waterjet propulsion system, coupled with a Class 2 dynamic positioning system (DP2), grants the vessel outstanding maneuverability, making it an essential asset for offshore operations.
