In response to the situation, the ship reduced its speed and managed to navigate safely to Edipsos, where all passengers were disembarked without incident. Following the arrival, the Edipsos Port Authority took measures to detain the 'Kapetan Aristidis' until the necessary repairs to the engines were completed and a seaworthiness certificate was issued, ensuring the vessel's safe return to service.
