Working Conditions Aboard the Kaptan-Hilmi-Iii

On October 10, 2022, at approximately 09:45 a.m., the cargo vessel 'NS Explorer' (IMO: 9048641) suffered an allision with the 'Kaptan Hilmi III' during its docking maneuvers at berth No. 1 of MBM Port in Durres. The impact resulted in minor steel damages to the stern of 'NS Explorer', but it did not affect the vessel's seaworthiness. Following the incident, the ship was not detained and successfully departed from the port in the afternoon, proceeding to the Durres anchorage where it will remain until the morning of October 11, awaiting further instructions from its owner. Meanwhile, the 'Kaptan Hilmi III' reported no damages and continued with its discharge operations as planned.
