This operation was executed by the innovative floating crane Triton, marking a pivotal moment in the vessel's transformation from a platform supply vessel (PSV). The new accommodation section was meticulously constructed at the Royal Niestern Sander shipyard, renowned for its cutting-edge facilities. The transportation of this sizeable section was efficiently managed using the floating crane Triton, along with the assistance of the tug Waterpoort and Wagenborg Barge 2, culminating in the successful delivery to the port of Delfzijl.

In a significant development in the maritime sector, Norway's Ulstein Group has inked a lucrative six-year agreement with Wagenborg Offshore. This contract is centered around the PSV Blue Queen, which will play a vital role in aiding Nederlandse Aardolie Maatschappij (NAM) and Shell UK in their offshore endeavors within the Southern North Sea. The PSV Blue Queen is tasked with serving as a standby and support vessel, designed specifically for the inspection and maintenance of unmanned platforms located in both Dutch and British waters. The Blue Queen, a state-of-the-art platform supply vessel designed with the ULSTEIN PX121 model and built at Ulstein Verft, has achieved an impressive Environmental Ship Index (ESI) score of 100. This accolade was awarded by the World Port Climate Initiative (WPCI), marking the vessel as a leader in eco-friendly maritime operations. Owned by Blue Ship Invest AS and managed by Golden Energy Offshore, the Blue Queen's exemplary score is the result of meticulous measures taken to minimize emissions such as NOx, SOx, and CO2. Achieving such a high ESI score involves a multifaceted approach, including a committed crew, effective management systems certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and OHSAS 18001, as well as innovative design and onboard systems. This environmental commitment not only sets the Blue Queen apart but also allows it to benefit from significant financial incentives. The vessel enjoys a 50% discount on port calls and the Pilotage Readiness Fee, making it not only environmentally friendly but also economically viable for operations in several ports.
