Mar 25, 2019 21:16

On the evening of March 25, 2019, a fire broke out aboard the KM 'Awu' at the Janata Marina Indah (JMI) Shipyard Unit 1 within the Tanjung Emas Port Area in Semarang, Indonesia. Fortunately, at the time of the incident, the vessel was unoccupied and no maintenance operations were in progress. The blaze reportedly originated from the captain's cabin located on the sixth deck and quickly spread, engulfing the bridge.
