A crew member aboard the 'Kota Legit' has been confirmed to test negative for COVID-19 after health authorities took swift action in Fremantle Port. The vessel, which arrived at the port on October 2, 2020, was met by Western Australia Health officials who conducted precautionary swab tests following reports that the crew member had experienced illness while at sea weeks prior. The 'Kota Legit' had set sail from China on September 12, made stops in Singapore on September 21 and Malaysia on September 24, before docking at the Patrick terminal in Fremantle at 6 a.m. Fortunately, no other crew members have reported any health concerns.
