On December 28, 2019, the cargo vessel 'Kristin', transporting 4,006 tons of wooden pellets, encountered engine issues while navigating 13 miles east of the Casquettes Traffic Separation Scheme, specifically at coordinates 50° 11' 15.6" N, 002° 06' 00.0" W. At the time, the vessel had a crew of nine on board. Fortunately, the mechanical malfunction was addressed and resolved by 01:40 a.m., allowing the ship to continue its journey from Cuxhaven to Brindisi. The expected time of arrival for the 'Kristin' is set for January 8, 2020.

On April 29, 2014, the cargo vessel 'Trine' encountered a bottom contact incident as it navigated the Kaliningrad Sea Canal at approximately 12:45 PM Moscow time. The incident, attributed to a malfunction in the steering gear, led the ship to anchor temporarily. Following its anchorage, the 'Trine' proceeded to a nearby berth for essential diving inspections to ensure safety. Fortunately, no significant damages were detected, allowing the vessel to continue its journey to Antwerp with an estimated time of arrival set for May 3, 2014.
