Linah Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

In a significant event today, the United Arab Shipping Company (UASC), a prominent player in the container shipping industry and a rapidly expanding global carrier, celebrated the inaugural arrival of its impressive 15,000 TEU vessel, the M.V. Linah, at Khorfakkan Container Terminal (KCT). This landmark occasion also saw collaboration with Gulftainer, the UAE-based operator renowned as the world's largest privately-owned independent port company. The M.V. Linah stands out as the largest vessel from UASC to dock at Khorfakkan Port thus far. This ship is part of UASC's state-of-the-art newbuilding program, a significant investment exceeding USD 2.3 billion, which includes the construction of 17 new vessels slated for delivery between November 2014 and 2016. Among these vessels, 11 are designed to carry 15,000 TEU, while six are capable of holding up to 18,800 TEU.
