The acquisition of M/V Lordship is part of a larger deal involving two Capesize vessels, with a total investment of $20.75 million for each. The second vessel, which will be named M/V Knightship, has a slightly larger deadweight of 178,978 dwt and is also a product of Hyundai Heavy Industries from the same year. Seanergy Maritime is anticipating the delivery of the M/V Knightship within December 2016, further enhancing its capabilities in the bulk carrier market.
