Libyan National Army Detains 'Else' for Breaching No Sail Zone
On February 2, 2021, at 2:00 PM, the vessel 'Else' was intercepted by the Libyan National Army (LNA) Sousse Marine for violating the Libyan No Sail Zone (NSZ). The ship was navigating from Gabes to Abu Qir when it was captured approximately 15 nautical miles north of Ras el Hilal, specifically at coordinates 33°08'29"N, 022°14'17"E. Following her seizure, the 'Else' was taken to the anchorage at Ras el Hilal for necessary administrative actions. The vessel was ultimately released on February 4 at noon and successfully completed her journey to Abu Qir, arriving on February 8.
