Working Conditions Aboard the Manila-Trader

In a strategic move, Quayside Maritime Partners has finalized the sale of two of their Supramax vessels, ‘North Quay’ and ‘Salford Quay,’ in a lucrative package deal. The vessels, built in 2010 and 2011 respectively, were constructed at the Ningbo Beilun shipyard in China and Taizhou Sanfu shipyard in China. Notably, ‘North Quay’ received dry dock treatments in April 2020, while ‘Salford Quay’ underwent similar maintenance in May 2021. Although the identities of the buyers remain undisclosed, the total transaction value is reported to be $19 million en bloc, reflecting robust market interest in the Supramax segment.
