In a daring operation, Houston firefighters successfully rescued a man who had fallen into the cargo hold of the "Bright Kowa" while working on the Houston Ship Channel on October 29, 2015. The incident occurred near the intersection of Industrial and Miles, where crews were deployed to lower rescuers into the hold. Just before 11:30 a.m., rescuers lifted the worker using a specialized rescue basket and transported him via ambulance for medical attention.
