On the night of June 5, 2020, at precisely 9:12 p.m., the Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) in Świnoujście responded to an urgent call for medical assistance from the vessel 'Miedwie.' Positioned off the coast of Świnoujście, a crew member was experiencing severe abdominal pain, prompting immediate medical intervention. Following a thorough consultation with medical professionals, it was deemed necessary for the individual to be evacuated to a hospital for further evaluation. To facilitate the urgent operation, the rescue ship 'Pasat' was dispatched to the scene and successfully retrieved the patient at 9:50 p.m. Once aboard, the crew of 'Pasat' provided critical care en route to the port of Świnoujście, where the patient was promptly transferred to the Medical Rescue team for additional treatment.
