Cargo Ship Mild Tempo Grounds Near Tokyo and Quickly Resumes Voyage

On May 18, 2018, at approximately 1:40 p.m., the cargo vessel Mild Tempo encountered trouble while departing from Tokyo and ran aground. Fortunately, the ship was able to refloat itself without external assistance. By May 19 at 6:50 a.m., Mild Tempo was back in operation and continued its journey. The ship was confirmed to be undamaged before setting sail toward its next destination, Ningbo, where it successfully arrived on May 21 at 5:10 p.m.
