The Minerva-Mediterranea: Crew Feedback and Vessel Data

On January 28, 2020, an incident involving unauthorized individuals unfolded aboard the oil tanker 'Minerva Mediterranea' at Callao Anchorage. Positioned at coordinates 12:00.15S – 077:10.59W, the vessel experienced an unexpected boarding attempt. Two individuals from two skiffs managed to come alongside and infiltrated the ship. Fortunately, the vigilant duty watchman spotted the intruders on the forecastle deck during a routine security check. Upon raising the alarm, the crew quickly assembled, prompting the intruders to leap overboard to escape capture. Port Authorities were promptly informed about the breach, and it was confirmed that no valuables were reported stolen during the incident.
