What Crew Members Say About Molly-Schulte

On March 9, 2025, a crew member aboard the cargo ship 'Molly Schulte' went overboard while the vessel was navigating from Manzanillo to Puerto Quatzal, approximately 26 miles offshore between Lázaro Cárdenas and Zihuatanejo. Identified as Carpio Carmelo Parongenable, a Filipino national, he was last seen around 5:45 a.m. The maritime, port, and fishing communities have been called upon to assist in the search efforts, with local fishing vessels in Zihuatanejo and the La Unión municipality specifically requested to remain vigilant for any signs of the missing crew member.
