On the day of the delivery, crew members employed compressed air to clear debris from the ship's smokestack. Unfortunately, it appears that the resulting particulates were carried eastward by the winds, potentially impacting the air quality in the city center of Nordenham. The tanker has already departed the port, complicating the investigation process for the Water Police Brake, which is now pursuing legal action against the vessel's chief engineer. Officials from the Oldenburg prosecutor’s office have been notified of the situation. So far, there has been no evidence linking the tanker to contamination along the beach.
