Capital Product Partners has signed new long-term agreements with Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) for two of its boxships, the Agamemnon and Archimidis, each boasting a capacity of 8,266 TEU. The 2007-built vessel Agamemnon is set to begin its new charter during the third quarter of 2019, following the successful installation of scrubbers and completion of a special survey. Meanwhile, the 2006-built Archimidis will kick off its charter at the close of the fourth quarter of 2019, also contingent upon completing scrubber installation and special survey requirements. This transition will occur directly after its current charter with MSC, ensuring seamless operations for the shipping giant.
