On March 17, 2013, the container ship MSC Alabama made its way into the port of Valencia, arriving from Perama. Unfortunately, the vessel faced challenging weather conditions, leading to a significant incident where multiple container stacks collapsed on the port side towards the aft of the ship. As a result, several containers were precariously hanging over the edge, and some even fell overboard due to the tumultuous seas.
