On November 10, 2013, the container ship 'Nedlloyd Juliana' made an unplanned stop at the port of Zeebrugge after suffering propeller issues while navigating the Dover Strait. The incident occurred on November 8 as the vessel was traveling from Dover to Bremerhaven, compelling the crew to shut down the main engine. In response, four tugboats were deployed to tow the 'Nedlloyd Juliana,' now a dead ship, safely into the port. Once docked at the APMT Zeebrugge terminal, all containers were unloaded while efforts began to find an appropriate dry dock for essential repairs. On November 11, around 8 a.m., the tugs 'Smit Tiger' and 'Union Boxer' successfully towed the vessel out of the Albert II Dock, setting its course for Bremerhaven.
