In a remarkable rescue operation, the U.S. Coast Guard successfully located a 25-year-old crew member from the 'Vega Sagittarius' on June 6, 2018. Lorejei Moscoso, a resident of the Philippines, was discovered alive in the water approximately five miles east of Port Everglades.
