Working Conditions Aboard the Msc-Tina

On March 27, 2021, the container ship MSC Tina, while progressing towards the port of Istanbul, experienced an allision with the Marport pier at Ambarlı during its docking operation. This incident resulted in significant damage to the vessel, with a breach extending several meters above the waterline. Fortunately, no injuries or environmental contamination occurred as a result of the collision. Following the incident, the MSC Tina anchored at Ambarlı's designated position (40° 56.15' N, 028° 38.89' E) at 10:10 PM, where investigations commenced under the scrutiny of the Maritime Directorate.
