The vessel 'Hartura' has docked at the Perama repair yard on November 24 for essential repairs. In an incident on November 21, 2019, the freighter 'Hartura' experienced a significant engine failure while navigating the Aegean Sea, en route from Ravenna to Gemlik. To address the emergency, the tugboat 'Apollon' (IMO: 7431806) was hired for the salvage operation. The towing process commenced on November 22, with the vessel being directed towards Piraeus. By November 23 at 6:20 a.m., 'Hartura' successfully dropped anchor in the port's waters at coordinates 37° 54.27' N 023° 33.72' E, while the tug maintained a standby position to ensure safety during the operation.

On October 22, 2018, the freighter 'Hartura' encountered difficulties while maneuvering to dock at Cariño Port after its arrival from Barcelona. During the docking procedure, the vessel, traveling at a reduced speed, inadvertently damaged two purse seiners and several smaller boats with its anchor. To successfully execute the turn towards the jetty, the pilot opted to increase the vessel's speed from 3 to 4 knots. However, due to time delays and limited space, the anchor was deployed to halt the ship's motion and facilitate a turn. While the maneuver was ultimately effective, the anchor became ensnared in the moorings of the fishing boats. Fortunately, there were no significant or structural damages reported, and the situation is expected to be resolved within a few days with the involvement of the insurer.
