On April 1, a notable maritime incident occurred at the PBM terminal in Burgas when the ferry 'Drujba' (IMO: 9031698) was involved in a triple allision. The ferry, while maneuvering in challenging weather conditions, collided with the cargo vessel 'Adnan H' (IMO: 8215649) as she drifted. The impact involved the starboard side stern of 'Drujba' striking the starboard side foreship of 'Adnan H', which was docked at a nearby pier. Additionally, the tanker 'Mehmet Unlu' also sustained damage to its bow's starboard side bulwark during the incident. Fortunately, only one individual reported an injury, and there were no fatalities or pollution incidents resulting from the collision. Tugs 'Golden Bless' and 'Multratug 26' were dispatched to assist in moving the ferry back into position. As of April 3, all involved vessels remained stationary at the port. The 'Mehmet Unlu' eventually departed Burgas at midnight on April 2, heading towards Mostaganem, with an expected arrival date of April 8.
