Ongoing Search Efforts for Overboard Sailor in the River Trent
Search operations are actively continuing for a sailor who fell overboard from a vessel on the River Trent, with the latest updates reported on December 20. A Humberside Police helicopter was deployed at 10:24 a.m. to investigate a reported sighting of the missing crewman, a Russian national aged 45. Unfortunately, the search did not yield any results. The sailor is believed to have entered the water on December 18 while the ship was docking at Grove Wharf.
