On March 6, 2025, the vessel 'My Reyhan' faced detention in Kocaeli after inspectors discovered 22 deficiencies on board. Out of these, seven were classified as grave enough to warrant immediate action. The critical issues included failure to conduct essential emergency drills for entering and rescuing from enclosed spaces, a missing voyage or passage plan compromising navigation safety, and multiple fire safety shortcomings. These deficiencies involved an improperly functioning fire detection and alarm system, inadequate fire doors and openings in fire-resistant divisions, and noncompliant firefighting equipment. Additionally, the fixed fire extinguishing system was found inoperative, and there was a noted lack of familiarity with garbage handling procedures onboard, raising pollution prevention concerns. The 'My Reyhan' was released the following day, on March 7, and proceeded to its destination in Batumi, arriving on March 14.

On September 4, 2023, the Greek Coast Guard's Joint Rescue Coordination Center (JRCC) sprang into action when they received an emergency call about a Dutch-flagged sailing vessel struggling to navigate 19 nautical miles northwest of Lefkada. With its sails rendered unusable, the vessel, carrying two crew members, was in a precarious situation. In response, the Coast Guard swiftly dispatched a patrol boat and alerted three nearby ships, while an aircraft took to the skies to aid in the rescue operation. The yacht was located successfully, and its crew members were safely transferred to the freighter 'My Reyhan', which was on its way from Porto Nogaro. Following their rescue, they were brought to the Preveza anchorage and subsequently picked up by a fishing vessel, which was accompanied by officers from the Port Authority. The crew members were safely transported to the Port of Preveza. An initial investigation into the incident is currently being conducted by the Port Authority of Preveza.

On July 27, 2017, a crew member aboard the 'Sea Kestrel' required immediate medical assistance and was airlifted to a hospital at approximately 8:30 a.m. The incident occurred as the vessel was navigating towards Dundee when the crew member reported a serious, yet undisclosed, health issue. The situation prompted the deployment of the Aberdeen-based rescue helicopter, Rescue Bond One, which swiftly transported the individual to Ninewells Hospital for urgent care. Following the medical evacuation, the 'Sea Kestrel' successfully docked in Dundee by noon before continuing its journey to Sluiskil.
