On February 17, 2024, at 1 p.m., the cargo vessel 'Pola Dudinka' encountered navigational difficulties and became lodged at the Khabarka-Solombala crossing in Arkhangelsk. The vessel had successfully navigated past the 14th timber plant prior to the incident. Fortunately, two icebreakers were deployed to assist in the refloating efforts. As ice continued to build up in the widened riverbed at the crossing, authorities assured that traffic between Khabarka and Solombala would soon be reinstated.
