During a maneuver to leave warehouse 21, with the aid of a tugboat, the ship encountered difficulties and ultimately allided with quay infrastructure at warehouse 22. The accident resulted in significant structural damage to the quay, including a dented and torn bulkhead and buckled paving. Investigations into the incident revealed that a malfunction in the vessel's electronic systems prevented the pitch propeller from being redirected, leading to the unexpected turn. The total damages from the allision are estimated at approximately 10,000 Euros. Following the incident, the 'Nadja' departed for St. Petersburg on February 5, with an expected arrival time of 2 p.m. on February 8.
