Nanjing Shenghang Shipping is set to bolster its shipping operations by acquiring two chemical tankers, a strategic move aimed at enhancing its existing fleet. The company has earmarked RMB76.5 million (approximately $11 million) for the purchase of the Yong Sheng Hua 7 from Zhoushan Yongsheng Shipping. Additionally, it will invest RMB79 million (roughly $11.4 million) to secure the Yong Cheng 58 from Zhoushan Yongcheng Shipping. As a subsidiary of Nanjing Refinery Company, Nanjing Shenghang Shipping primarily focuses on chemical transportation along the Yangtze River and across domestic coastal areas. Currently, the company operates a fleet of 11 tankers, boasting an impressive total capacity of 55,000 DWT. This latest acquisition underscores Nanjing Shenghang Shipping's commitment to expanding its capabilities in the chemical shipping sector.
